About Sebree Deposit Bank
On April 22, 1890, with $25,000 in initial capital, a charter for Sebree Deposit Bank was issued.
The story of the Bank began with John Alexander Powell. John believed in the integrity of local individuals and their potential to develop the resource rich area. The bank was formed to meet the needs of the hard working folks of Sebree, Kentucky. George Henry Warren purchased the bank from the Powell family in 1910 and the Warren family has lead the bank ever since. Memorably, in 1955, Mr. Bernard Otho Warren was elected to serve as the fifth president of the Sebree Deposit Bank. He was committed to the community, focusing on small town customer needs. His vision of a community bank with personalized service is still carried out today. Over the years the presidents and team members of the bank have continued assisting the citizens of Sebree and surrounding communities in making their dreams and aspirations a reality.
With local ownership and management our customers are still banking with the decision makers, not those taking orders from afar. We continue to practice the same principles today that have guided the bank for years. The leadership of the bank has actively involved five generations of the Warren family and continues today with a commitment to community banking. Sebree Deposit Bank recognizes that everyone walking through our door has an idea and spirit of enthusiasm regarding their future.
